My dearest family!!,
elder houston here! fine and dandy! ha. hey thanks so much for the package i got it and everything made it safe the brownies were lil crusty but hey ! i aint complaning haha they were way good. oh just a little heads up they have cream of rice here in springfield so you dont got to send any more:) hahah ive got it coming out my ears haha but thanks so much it all helps.
and sorry! i didnt get my suprise out to you!!! i totally ran out of time hopefully i will get you it this week ha hopefully. oh and ya! i have been able to talk to drew for a while now ! thats so crazy he on his way home already!!! if you guys get to see him you should say hi to him for me!!! oh and before i forget to ask, i was wondering how colton tieman and jake flores was doing i wrote the flores a while back but have not got a letter yet, hope they still doing good oh and trevor shroder!!!?? how is he? i was thinking about that guy the other day.
well all is still doing great here in chesterfield things have acually been picking up alot, like we have this recent converts daughter that we going to start teaching soon. she got up and bore her testimony yesterday and it was the first time i think i have ever heard a non member do that haha. she said even tho i am not baptized ..yet haha it was so awesome!! was the most powerful testimony i have heard in a while it was great ! i love fast sundays. her family has been through so much, though it is so amazing to see how much our Heavenly Fathers gospel has blessed their family. like so her dads name is kirk and he is the recent convert of like a year and few months. him and his wife got in a divorce a while back and he met this other lady, sister hanes. they were sealed in the temple for time and all eternity just this friday. to see how happy they are now and now kirks daughter is changing and seeing and feeling the power of these divine truths she is now wanting to join. and kirks ex wife who was so anti mormon is reading the book of mormon and want to learn!
the power of the holy ghost is so real and it will always testify of what is true and bear witness of our loving Father in Heaven and His Son. it has been such a wonderful blessing to see the Lords work and being able to be sealed to our families for eternity! what love He has for us !!! i love seeing His gospel spread and bless the lifes of others and as i work to build his kingdom he is building me to be a better me :)
i love you all so much!! thank you for being the best family anyone could ever ask for im so greatful that He loves us enough to be able to be sealed together and grow and learn together as a family. such a blessing i love you all so much ! keep up the faith! with it miracals will happen.

FUN WEEK

hey whats up family!,
sooooo alot to talk about hopefully i remember everything you said so i can answer haha but no worries about time we get alot of time to email now. but ya all is well here nothing too different happend this week just doing the Lords work.
oh halloween was super fun by the way we had a trunk or treat meet alot of non members hopefully can teach soon oh and this ward has a huge Nativity party thing and it should be way cool im pumped for it ! lots of non members come muhaha!! ha.
but ya still chugging along with courtnie our golden investigator!! woot woot. she just dieing to get baptized and to see how much the gospel has changed her is so awesome ! like from the first time we met her oh man i cant get over it.
oh and ya we heard about that earth quake!! apparently they have them all the time there! haha this place totally is where the garden of eden was ha its cursed now. haha but ya we didnt feel it but members down the street felt the after shock! crazy huh. haha 65 degrees thats it haha jk. ha its so crazy changing here, like one day it was like 30degrees and the next its 70 ha and the cold is a humid cold so it goes right through my clothes! ha but it not bad we are going to go to a thrift store and try and get some sweaters and stuff i got some gloves that work for now but i will let ya know if i need anything they say the winter is also pretty changing as well but dono ill keep ya posted.
thats awesome about cyni and steve 18acres thats alot ! way cool! oh and ya we had transfers a while ago, all is still the same, we think elder treasure is going to leave the next one tho which stinks but oh well. the next one is december 2. oh!
and we had stake conference this last sunday and man talk about full house this stake is huge but ya i saw elder gunell and his parents names are robert and lisa. and his grandpa is the guy that owns gunell tires! haha it was funny when i asked him but ya small world. but hey got to go glad tori is talking with tobin and every one is ok i pray for you all every night ! love you all and i will write ya today its raining pretty good today so we will have lots of time ha yesterday its was a weird kinda of rain its like a mist ha it does not even get the ground wet haha missiouri is funny weird ha but love you all... talk to you soon i sending you a surprise this week! :)

howdy yall! haha,
ha hey!! how is life ! thats so crazy tori is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh my ! thats awesome she got to go to the temple before she got released! i would love to do that as well if i could! and instead of mi amigos i want some of mamas home cooking !! and i can show ya a lil bit of the stuff i have been learning out here ha it gonna be sweet!.
so alot has happend this week and i totally forgot my planer so i going to have to go off memory.. oh dear haha. so wed. we had a zone meeting and i got to meet my new zone for the first time in a place called branson missouri its like a g rated las vegas haha its awesome. but at the meet it was soooo fun like we got new zone leaders and they are so cool and fun like they made the meeting fun and spiritual it was perfect! and i got to meet some way great missionarys. we actually have two elders and one sister from arizona!! ahah the sister is from page and the zone leader elder is from tucsan or how ever its spelt ha and the other is a district leader named elder gunell from gildert !!! hes awesome i talked with him a bunch we are going to go hang out when we all get back ! any way that was super fun i enjoyed that alot and i even learned alot.
i dont know why but it has taken so long for me to realize this but we always say that we represent Jesus Christ and i finally realized that its a litteral term like we are acting on his behalf ! so it is soooo important of what we do think say everything. oh how great the calling ha although it is important to have fun i must always remember who i am acting on behalf of. its so amazing to be able to say that i am worthy to represent our Lord and Savior.. i cant defiantly see why it was hard for tori to end her calling. but! if you remember the sacroment prayer said every sunday, " to eat in rememberance", and to "witness unto thee" to testify of him, and " that they are willing to take upon them the name of thy son". so as we take thy sacrament we are all to act on and represent our Savior.. so even tho name tags are pretty cool ha we are ALL called to the work and oh how great the calling :) ha i love this work and as i see the amazing changes in families that it brings and the joy and happiness that comes with. i could talk on and on haha there is so much to talk about ! but got to go:( sorry but ill talk to you all next week.
i love you tori!! thanks for being such an amazing example of a choice servant !! i hope to become at least half the missionary you were!!! and as there is still work to be done any where you go keep it up:) love ya family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His last few emails in the subject he had been saying things like...."best week ever" " another beautiful week" and so when i saw this title " not such a good week" i was sad for him.....but he tricked me....not funny!!! but i am glad that he feels like everyweek is the BEST for him.. and i did give him crap for not emailing his momma first haha

hey everyone ha we finally got a normal Monday of emailing ha such a relief. but thats so awesome that sounded like that was a way bomb camping trip we totally should make that a tradition!! especially in two years ha. haha ya it has like no tred on that back tire either so sand is not the best for the 50 but it still so fun. hunters the man by the way ha how did he fix it ? ha tell him thanks ha and sorry ya when you let it sit for too long the tubes weaken and those tires are lame so not help at all ha. if he gets more he should have like ktm or honda put them in for him. oh and the back tire is new i just remembered haha ops how the heck he get that on man he really is the man haha those are a pain. oh did anthany go did he find a job?? i pray for him hopefully he gets one soon!
oh man holy cowwwww!!!!!! 11 days and counting!!! thats crazy! i miss her so much it stinks our missions over lapped so off ha but its ok ill see her may 29th 2013! woot woot! ha it will be awesome! ah i keep forgetting to write them! when they get there hopefully i can just remember to put a letter in with yours and i can knock it all out in one swing haha tell them i love them and sorry. thats sweet justin and jarid going to get to hang out that would be way cool they would be way good for each other they like good opposites ha if that make since. ahhh dang aunt kim! ha they are awesome tell them thank you and i will for sure write them no worries.
sooo great to hear how well everyone is doing! this week was way great for us too especially the weekend! so friday we had to go on an undercover mission ha we like staked out this house all morning on hahaha creepy i know but it worked haha. we were told by bishop to find out what happen to this member that they had not seen in a while. the reason we had to be sneaky is because she has this crazy hooligan son who is GINORMOUS ha and he is very anti and he is abusive soo ya not good so we waited out side there house, which by the way was by our apartments so it was not as sketchy as it sounds ha, but ya we waited for him to leave and when he finally did we moved in! ha and then just found out that she had just moved back to utah ha. it was fun tho. then later that day we had got a call from some guy is utah that said his neighbor had just moved there and didnt have anyone to help move in to there apartment, also right by ours. so we told him sure later found out that the family was a man and his wife and there 8 year old son THEY WERE NOT LDS?? from Utah haha crazy right but ya we helped them out they were way nice hopefully they will let use teach them when we go over to eat with them they offered to feed us ha cool huh i love this area ha. then sunday was amazing too like always! ha we had three investigators come to church and a really less active guy came again hes way cool. Lerry getz is the name of one of the investigators he is a pretty crazy old dude he is like a a brummer like for a band back in the day but i guess he drove truck for a long time too and when i told him that dad owns a trucking he was like heyyyy hook me up see if i can drive for him haha so ya this is me asking k ha but hes a funny guy. then COURTNIE came again to church again!! with her little son collin ! she is so awesome best investigator ever i really have a good feeling about her she even said she would totally get baptized! we just have to talk to our mish pres because she has had an abortion before and thats one of those eh things but ya so we keeping her is our prayers and hoping she sticks with it and she still seems like she really wants to !
oh ya! i totally forgot so sunday morning we were walking out to go to church and we walk out side and there was soooo much smoke! and it smelt like fire wood! so we walked out to our apartment complex and found out one the the buildings in the complex was on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was crazy! and we didnt even know ! ha we didnt hear any sirens or anything because we in the back by the freeway ha we lucky it was not our building or we would have burned up in companion study haha but ya we went over and took some pictures and then had to head out for church. oh and we later found out that that family ,the bausewells, that we helped move in on friday almost moved in by that building talk about count your blessings.
any way sorry this is a long email we had lots of time today ha but hope ya enjoyed it ha not really spiritual this time but have still been growing and learning so much every week i feel like my spiritual brain is about to overload and EXPLODE ha but i love it so much and i love learning ha weird i know who would have ever thought those words would have came out of my mouth ha and reading! ha but any way ill shut up ha i love you all so much you have all, friends, and family, everyone have all saved me spiritualy i could not have grown up in a more perfect place for me especially you mom and dad thank you a million times over love you and will talk to ya later
